A peaceful moment with Lucy on the porch ~

Lucy on the porch

And we enjoyed it while it lasted before the painter came and the wee calm pup turned into a crazy loon.

But it will be worth it in the end ….

It’s July 15th!

First ~ How did that happen? It seems as if their were just blooms on my Dogwood.

Today is my sweet Lola’s birthday! She’s 2 ~ again, how did that happen? I am blessed that we only live 45 minutes away and we can take her out to breakfast once a week while her mommy gets some extra work done.

Days have been very full with lots of skirts to sew and new plans being made for fall skirts and tops. I got some pretty accent fabric in yesterday ~ perfect for borders and edgings.

Whimsy Dots and Ric Rac

I’ll be caught up with custom orders in a couple days and then it’s time to make some more samples. I love putting the new combinations together. It’s fun to see which skirts are popular and which turn out to be dudes. It’s a constant learning experience, Although, having said that, I still will make what I like, too. I can always put the samples in my closet! LOL

Summer pond in PA

summer on the pond in PA

Wow, we just had a stretch of really hot weather especially for in the mountains. Today was glorious and I seem to be heading in all directions at once trying to get some things done while the weather is nice. Looks like we have a couple days reprieve before we are hit with 90 degrees again.

I should have a whole set of new skirts to list soon and even a listing for youth sizes as well :-)

Have a Wonderful 4th of July weekend! ((hugs)) rosie
