I am having so much fun doing this … quilting …. who knew? I always said I wouldn’t do it and I still can’t imagine following the complicated patterns I see in quilt land. Oh, they are beautiful but right now I am happy to do this one pattern over and over and over again!

Can’t wait to start another! Have a great weekend! ((hugs)) rosie

OK, Jen ….. here it is! I love it and I hope you will. too!

(John is the man behind the quilt …hehehe)

So hope you are pleased ….if not, I’ll keep it and do another one for you! LOL ((hugs)) rosie
Next up on the list is Jen’s (lovely and talented DL) quilt. I asked her one Sunday morning a few weeks back to pick out some fabrics for her living room so I could make a quilted throw in just the right colors and style for her beautiful home.
This is what Jen picked for the back of her quilt although it was my choice to go with a 100% cotton matelasse. For me, at this beginning stage, I can keep the quilting simple and still have a lovely result on the opposite side

P. Kauffman Matelasse Tara Ivory
The next 4 are for the front …. her choice of fabrics and my choice for placement (to keep the giggles in it for me!).

Joel Dewberry Ginseng Orchid Petal Celery

Kaffe Fassett Lotus Leaf Jade

Michael Miller Flora And Fauna Dandelion Stone

Amy Butler Midwest Modern Martini Mustard
I was so scared to start cutting into these fabrics! I actually did a scrappy quilt during the snow-in because I just COULDN’T start! Have you ever had that problem? Anyway, I started it yesterday and it went so well, I may have it done by the end of the weekend and definitely before Jen’s Birthday! Yeah!!
Well, now, here’s you little peek ….

Okey, Dokey … that’s all for now. It feels so good to be on a roll once again!
