garden textures

Which came first the gardener or the seamstress? Since I have my very earliest memories of doing each, I have no idea. I know my Momma used to pull me in a wagon while she weeded the vegetable garden ~ and I sat at her feet while she sewed on her Singer pulling a big old darning needle through fabric in a hoop.  So the two are entwined in me now and I can’t imagine a life where I didn’t do both!
