Boy's Throw collage

I finished my Thanksgiving project today. I am not a quilter, for sure, but I wanted to participate in one of the worthy causes that donates quilts, throws and blankets to children in need by sickness, homeless, or distress. I had also seen that while all are needed, items for boys is especially appreciated. So, I rummaged through my stash of flannels and found several boy appropriate prints to piece together for the top and the binding. I had a piece of matelasse that I used for the back.

I decided that I was quite pleased with it and that this will be a continuing project for me. Plus, I think daughter and daughter in law will most likely be recipients of some throws this winter as well :-)
