I’ll be taking this down to Lola tomorrow…hope she likes her MumMum’s first efforts at making, what I affectionately call, cheater quilts.

again, I just used leftover flannel from when I was briefly making diapers and burp cloths and a piece of matelasse for the back. everything was on hand in my stash.

using up my scraps is a good thing. making blankets is a good thing. not spending money while perfecting the rosie’s whimsy method of making a cheater quilt is a good thing.

using my (dormant for 6 months) embroidery machine to make a label is a good thing, as well!
next I’ll be doing some Christmas ones. I love snuggling up with a throw over my legs and feet … plus, I have an awfully large stash!! HA!
Have the best of days! ~rosie~

what a great way to use up your stash! scraps or not, i love the prints you chose:)
yay! love it! you definitely picked out some of my fave flannels from your stash. lola will be so cuddly warm in her quilt
Oh, she will love this. It will be so warm and soft for her! I love the tag on it too. That way when she’s 21, she’ll know when and by whom it was made! So nice.
love that sweet quilt. she will cherish it when she’s older! : )
