What have I been up to? I’ve been making skirts! Actually,last spring, Tara wanted a circle skirt. We went online and found a tutorial for one. I made it but it just didn’t cut it! The instructions were precise and mathematical, just the way I like it, but the proportions still came out all wrong. It had a zipper and a waistband which I had to elasticize in order for it to fit her. All in all it took forever and even though she loved it and wore it, I wasn’t satisfied. I came up with my own pattern and set of measurements that are easy to follow, comfortable, and really flattering on any body type. I will be doing a tutorial for you soon.
